We made it up a cliff today, Bia the Chinese major found scuffle marks. She doesn’t recognise the claw shape, or why whatever animal made them did so. She majored in Zoology so she would know. I trusted her judgement but there was some unsettlement with the others. Doubt is an easy thing to spread, and increasingly difficult to banish.
We will be moving out in an hour, we are just on a temporary break. It is extremely cold, it has slowly gotten colder the higher we have gotten. I have no clue how a creature could live up here. I know some animals used to live up here, because of the books I had to read in college. But there must be a reason none live up here now.
