The next day

Fuck this shit I want to go out of lab...
I've forgot to tell Peridork where I work so I probably won't see her today...
Wait... Peridork? Hah.....
What am I even thinking...
I was now looking at my ring I still had on my index finger.

"Lapis get your shit together..."

You can't be with anyone without destroying everything....

Flashback

"YOU BITCH!" she yelled and slapped me.

"I-I am sorry...I didn't want to..." I was crying and sobbing on the floor but she didn't care...

"You couldn't even cook a simple dinner!? I have been working all day! And you fell asleep??? What a usles girlfriend you are... You are nothing but disappointment. Lay on bed now.
You've been a bad girl..." she demanded and grabbed my hands hard.
I knew what was coming but I didn't want to make her even more mad so I obeyed her...

Next hours were just pure hell...

End of flashback

My thoughts were thank goodness interrupted by someone's screaming.

" WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, YOU WALKING BASKETBALL!"

I rushed out of lab to check what's happening because
one, I like drama
and two, I just wanted to go out of that soulless laboratory.

"What's all the screaming about Bobby?"

Bobby is one of our best cops. Sure he really is a little round but there is no need for fat shaming anyone.
Now who's that bitch who yelled.

"Peridot?"

"Oh hey lapis. Ready for lunch? I wanted to come inside but this dildo wouldn't let me come inside."

I started laughing and snorting badly.

"By the way I've got ya something!" she said and gave me a bonboniera and roses. I was suprised and madly blushing. Damn I didn't know she was such a little gentleman.

"U-uh Peridot you shouldn't have... That's really sweet of you though."

I gave her a little kiss on a cheek.

"I will be right back Peridork! Let me just grab my stuff from lab and I'll finish for today."

I speed walked back and started finishing my work stuff for today.

Peri's POV

Peridork...? No one called me like that before, and I had A LOT of one night stands. But I find it cute and sweet and-

"If you call me basketball ever again I'll be sure to smash you like one-"

"Excuse you?" I yelled back.

"Who the fuck are you to tell me how to call you? You're just a cop."

He grabbed me for the collar of my shirt and slammed me on the wall.

I was now pissed so I told him what I had on my mind.

"You will never be a real city hero. What do you have? Wife and two kids right?"

"H-How do you-"

"And a lover too. Long black hair, skinny form, always wearing red lipstick. Jenny right?"

He froze when I mentioned her name and he then let me go.

"Mess with me again, and I'll tell everything to your wife and I think she won't be so happy then~"

He started shaking like someone would put him in the freezer.

"Ready to eat?" Lapis came out of laboratory smiling.

" Yeah my lady~" she laughed and playfully punched my arm.
As we were walking out I looked back and the cop was still frozen on the spot.

Heh I really traumatize people.
