I stopped, turning to Ghetsis. He still had the sad look to him, and I couldn't stand leaving him now. He seemed... desperate. I couldn't stop myself from grinning.
"Oh, well, I thought you didn't need anyone. If I'm of no use here, what's my reason for staying?" I told him, watching his face as I awaited his response.
I waited longer than I thought for him to respond, about two to three minutes before realising he was reluctant to answer. Or maybe he was just stunted, not knowing what to say.
