A/N: Michael Dougherty released some recent information on his Instagram where he reveals some info on the muto that had appeared in Godzilla: King of The Monsters. Not only some info about it, but what it's called, it's nick name and how it awoken.

Now I know this revelation of this Muto being a Queen Muto might seem a bit head-scratching due to the existence of Jinshin Mushi aka Muto Prime.

Well from what I can see, it possibly goes like this:
1. Muto Prime is possible one of two evolutionary changes a Female Muto endures when it reaches adult hood. The Queen Muto being able to produce far more eggs than normal females when they mate while Muto Primes are more to combating other titans and used them has hosts for their offspring.
or
2. Muto Prime is likely the Queen Muto having evolved much further on it it's life span to which is given an armored plating, bulky build, larger size and even new abilities. This especially helps the fact that Muto Prime are a lot more ancient than even Normal Muto
But those are just my ideas on it. Hopefully Michael Dougherty is able to explain this soon.
