He said I know you so well
He said I can tell what you are thinking
He said you don't even need to talk I know what you want
But yet this fool couldn't tell when I said it was over I didn't mean it
He smiled at me a sad little smile and said I was expecting it and left without saying another word
I was mad
Mad at him because he couldn't tell after all that I didn't want him to leave
He couldn't even tell that when I said I hate you I meant the total opposite
He wasn't aware of the fact that I hated it so much when we fight and I could not do anything but watch helplessly as he drifts away from me
Each fight creates a bigger space and each space leaves a hole in my heart
After all his claims of knowing what I want he couldn't realise breaking up was far from what I want
Honestly I wanted us to get married and have kids I have secretly thought of names for our kids
My heart leaps with joy anytime he calls me by his surname even if I lie and tell him to stop I didn't mean it and yet here we are
Couldn't he read the situation
How am I supposed to live without him cos to me he is my living
