Friday. Alice Cooper and FP Jones spend their day at a famous amusement park in L.A. while their kids are staying at the hotel. They ride roller coasters, visit a temporary Haunted House, a temporary House of Mirrors and buy lotteries to lottery wheels to try and win prizes. They have a good time with the roller coasters but are unfortunate with the lottery wheels.
At lunchtime both FP and Alice decide to have Fish and Chips together with Coca Cola. After lunchtime they go and shop in candy stores. Usually they don't eat candy, but since this is a family trip they see this day as an exception.
While visiting the shops, they look for things they can buy for their kids. They find a store with a bigger variety of products and find somthing for each of their kids. For Betty Alice finds a blue shirt and for Jughead FP finds a book. Jellybean will be happy to receive a comic she reads.
"Hey," they hear a voice say. It's Sarah.
"Oh, hi," Alice says, smiling and waving her hand.
"Nice jeans."
"Thanks. I bought them a bit after we arrived in L.A."
"Well, they look good on you."
"You seem so kind," Alice says after some seconds.
"I try to be."
FP speaks to Sarah. "Your eyes. Jughead was right. They do look familiar. Weren't you in a tv show?"
"No, I haven't been, but you might confuse me with an actress."
"Yeah, that's possible."
"Well, I just came in here to buy a comic. I found it and will leave after I've paid for it. I might visit you again before you leave L.A."
"Bye," Alice and FP says, waving their hands to Sarah as she walks out through the door.
They buy their things and walk out. They continue walking in the amusement park and stop when they see a crowd of people standing. They walk through the crowd and see Sarah dancing in the middle.
"Not bad," FP says, admiring the dance. "Not bad at all."
"Indeed," Alice agrees.
Sarah sees them. "You're welcome to stay and watch."
"That is kind of you," Alice says, "but we must leave now. You're an excellent dancer, I see."
Alice puts a coin in the cap on the ground.
"No need to be stingy. You said yourself she is an excellent dancer. Let's give a whole lot of money," FP says and puts several dollars in the cap.
"What has gotten into you?" Alice gapes.
Sarah stops dancing and steps in front of them. "It's ok. You don't have to put that much money."
"What are you saying?" FP wonders. "Of course I have to. I have never been as impressed as I am now. You deserve it."
"It's fine. I am serious."
"That's right," Alice turns to FP. "Listen to her."
Sarah places her hands on his shoulders. "It's ok."
"Ok," he says. "Alice. You're right. It's time for us to leave this amusement park. Bye, Sarah.
"Bye," Alice and Sarah say to each other.
Alice takes FP's hand and leads him to the exit of the amusement park. "I think it's time for us to return to the hotel."
Still standing in the crowd, Sarah smiles. Mission accomplished.
