i woke up more happy than usual as it was my birthday.
i hadn't told anyone on set because i didn't want them to make a big deal out of it. but i was planning on telling them later today because what's the harm that could be done.

i got out of bed and took a quick shower. i let my hair air dry as i picked out an outfit.

i kept my hair straight, and but on some lipgloss. after getting ready i walked to the living room and saw that josh wasn't there, since he normally is, i decided to text him

i sat down on the couch and turned the tv on. i remembered that today was also the day we went on jimmy fallon. then me and josh had ellen the next day.

i also remembered tim telling me not to bring extra clothes as they'll have clothes ready for me to change into at the studio.

a few minutes pass and josh walks out of his room.

"ready to go" i said getting up turning the tv off
"yep" he said walking to grab his keys

he locked the door and we headed to the lobby. we got into his car and as always blasted music until we got to starbucks. finishing our singing sesh after we get our drinks.

we finally reach set and walk towards our trailers, normally josh would just walk straight to his after we hugged and said see you soon. but this time he insisted on walking me to my trailer.

i didn't really mind it since i really enjoyed his presence.
we walked and talked about random stuff that has happened over the past few weeks, we talked about the tonight show, and ellen random stuff like that.

until we reached my door. i went to unlock it and as soon as i opened my door i immediately jumped at what i saw

"SURPRISE" everyone yelled coming over to hug me and wish me a happy birthday
"you guys" i said on the verge of tears "this is the best birthday ever" i said
"not yet" i heard josh say before telling me to close my eyes. i heard footsteps coming towards me and i was very much confused.
"open" josh said. i opened my eyes and saw my bestfriends and my sister standing right in front of me. they all screamed and attacked me into a hug.
"i missed you guys so much" i said full on crying
"us too" kaitlyn said
"what're you guys doing here" i said still shocked by everything that's happened so far.
"we're here to surprise you" laila exclaimed
"yea we helped olivia and josh plan this party" matt said
"it was actually all of josh's idea" kenna said smiling
"joshy you did this" i said walking over to him and grabbing both his hands
"yea" he said looking at our hands
"bubba" i said pouting and giving him the biggest hug ever
"awwwww" is all i heard. we let go and turned to face everyone.
"ok well we need to be on set in a few minutes sooo everybody out, we'll have a group dinner tonight" i said pushing everyone out my door "i love you guys thanks for this" i said before shutting my door leaving only me and josh standing in the pile of streamers and ribbons

"lea there's something i really need to tell you" josh said looking down
"what's up joshy" i said concerned
"the thing is, i really like you like a lot since the day i met you i knew i liked you. you're so sweet and funny and talented and kind you're an amazing person with the best personality. you're so beautiful and you make me a better person. i know you probably don't feel the same way but i thought i had to let you know. we've become so close in a matter of months and there's nothing about it that i would change" he said
"joshy, i- i like you too" i said
"you....what?" he said taken aback
"yea i do" i said before placing a soft kiss on his cheek
" i should probably get going" he said
"bye joshy" i said giving him a hug
"bye ellie" he said
