Lies of Him

22 2 1

You are the one who is treading on dangerous waters,

For I am not,

Project your insults at me,

I will deflect every said word,

As it will hit your chords,

Straining you to the point of silence,

Where I will be to claimed a victress,

But your lies have cut scars into my pale flesh,

The man I love is not what you have claimed he was.

Twice to court,

He refused to court again,

She broke him to pieces,

His heart has been dropped.

Shattered glass hit the surface,

Sunk til the water was contaminated by his tears,

Unseen but the feeling lingered,

With her heart leaving satisfied,

But a fragile boy was no longer a boy,

Man was what he became,

Heartless,

Unless touched with words.

Spending his words carefully,

Sneaky as if he was a cat,

A simple sight of him could cure a broken heart,

But he does not know of his wonders.

En quire what I have said,

His eyes have hit mine with kindness,

To fury,

Even sorrow.

To spread your lies about a man of love,

To one who has been stuck without a lover,

Should be rather known as an act of sin.

*Note- I love one who just can't be loved, while others lie to me about him.
