you looked at the girl who you were talking to earlier, who you assume is named Dolly, that was now sweeping near the back of the shop.
?? : Ah, i forgot to introduce
myself, I'm VERON the
owner of this antique shop.
we're low on staff so any
help is welcomed here.
VERON : you've met DOLLY
but she only does morning
shifts. she'll be teaching you
what you need to be ready
for the night shift.
VERON : I'm sure you can
handle it on your own,
besides it only from 6:00
to 9:00pm and the shop
isn't usually busy at those
times.
YOU : wait, my first shift
is tonight and I'm gonna
be all alone?
you stared at the owner but she doesn't seem to care. the shop seemed weird and it was already odd to only have two staff. its an antique store, no one goes there avidly, you try to reason with yourself. but you needed the money and the pay is good.
