"So what you're telling me is that you got some cryptic message from an old Jedi who has been dead for years and now we're headed to an Empire-loaded planet which is the planet said dead Jedi told you to go to so you can find some ancient artifact called a holocorn? Great..."
TN and Cal sat on the couch, the girl in front of him frowning in confusion and looked slightly disturbed. Cal sighed and looked to BD-1.
"First, it's called a holocron. Second, Cordova didn't exactly tell me. It was more like a recording stored in BD's memory. He said to look on Zeffo for clues."
"Sounds promising." TN said sarcastically as she stood up but fell when Greez descended onto the planet. She landed on top of Cal, the two grunting from their different degrees of pain. He pushed her off of him, the girl falling onto the floor and wheezing.
"Gee, thanks!" She said sarcastically and smacked his arm. Cal swatted back at her, making TN grin mischievously as she poked his side. He immediately squirmed away from her and BD-1 trilled shrilly at TN to make her stop.
"Don't you ever do that again!" Cal almost shrieked, his arms around him as he glared at the dark haired girl in front of him.
Cere and Greez emerged from the cockpit and looked between the two teenagers. TN grinned smugly and went to her room to grab her weapons. Even though she disliked Cal, there was no way that was stopping her from exploring the planet. And if he did not like it, he would learn to deal with it.
Grabbing her electrified staff which is good to deflect lightsabers--learned that when she was sent to eliminate a small group of Jedi--and her small backpack, TN walked out and followed Cal outside. BD-1 beeped happily as she approached, making her smile, but it turned into a smirk when Cal noticed her.
"Why are you here?"
"Figured you would need help. Besides, you would be lost without me."
Cal rolled his eyes as he led the way to where they needed to be. TN kept her guard up and an eye out for any threats which may come their way.
"So, Cal, where you from?"
"No."
"I'm just trying to make a friendly conversation."
The two continued to trek down a dirt, snowy path, their eyes taking in their surroundings. TN jogged up ahead and rounded a corner, only for her foot to fall into a hole. A shout of alarm escaped her lips, making Cal ignite his lightsaber and sprint over to help her. When he saw it was a false alarm, he sighed and holstered it. TN managed to get her foot out and she stood straight, her boot covered in mud.
"I'm okay. Now, we should--"
"The Jedi!"
Groundtroopers amd Stormtroopers ran toward them. TN removed her staff and twirled it over her head before holding it out. Cal pulled out his lightsaber and the two ran forward, their weapons hitting their targets and taking the white armored beings out. Cal grabbed a hold of TN's forearm, the girl swinging around and letting him go at the last moment. He flew toward a stormtrooper, his orange blade going through him and then throwing him off the cliff. TN ran forward, watching the trooper's lifeless body fall below.
"Well, goodbye to you too, GL-4302." She muttered, not an ounce of pity in her voice as she and Cal continued to the Zeffo temple. BD-1 beeped to them when he saw a deserted village ahead of them. Stormtroopers guarded the area, making the two companions sigh in annoyance. TN noticed the spinning water wheel but saw no other path to get over the chasm below them.
"I got this." Cal spoke to her and walked up to the water wheel. With a wave of his hand, the wheel slowed just enough to let them walk across.
"Show off..." TN muttered to him and hopped across. Cal followed, grinning smugly at her when he passed. The girl rolled her eyes at him, her dislike for him growing more and more with each passing second.
They emerged in the village, surprising all of the stormtroopers around them. The two split up and fought on their own. TN was fighting a groundtrooper when she heard her name called out to her.
"TN-0237! Face me you traitor!" Another groundtrooper shouted, but TN shot him in the head with a fallen Stormtrooper's blaster. She walked up to the body, recognizing the serial number on his chest.
PN-1173
Her memories of him were very little, but she remembered how happy they were before she defected.
"TN! We need to go!" Cal called to her from above. She looked up to see him on a roof of a small hut.
"How the hell did you get up there?"
"It's called climbing, dumbass."
TN scoffed at him as she crossed her arms. He chuckled to himself as she ran up a wall and jumped up to grab the ledge of the building and pulled herself up. Cal silently admitted to himself that her move was impressive.
"I am not dumb nor ass...you ass." TN commented to him as she walked ahead of him. Cal tried to think of something to say back, but he failed miserably when he finally replied.
"You...are a womp rat."
She laughed at him, making his cheeks redden from his embarrassment and annoyance toward her. He did, however, like the way her voice sounded when she laughed. It was a nice sound, but it would be nicer if TN was likable.
"Wow, I'm so hurt. Now, which way do we need to go? You're the one with the map."
