Cal could sense something was wrong with TN as they walked past a few Wookies and into a deserted Imperial base area to find Saw Gerrera. The girl was unusually quiet and not her usual sarcastic self. Her eyes were dull and her movement were sluggish.
"All right, what's wrong? You haven't insulted me or said something snarky since we've been here. Something is up."
Cal moved her to the side as Rebel fighters jogged last them and out to where the Mantis was sitting. TN gripped the large blaster which was strung over her front, her dark brown eyes looking up at him. He could see the annoyance in her features.
"I'm fine, Cal."
"You're not fine. Look, if you need to insult me to feel better, I'll let you, but it's weird to see you like this."
TN rolled her eyes and walked away from him. Cal grabbed her arm to stop her, his eyes pleading her to trust him. The girl gazed back at him, knowing he would not drop the subject. In which case, he would not unless she became frustrated and angry.
"Cal, I'm just tired."
She sighed and ran her hand through her short hair.
"I just want to find this Tarfful guy, get what Cordova says to get, and retrieve that Jedi thing."
There was more to why TN was acting the way she did, but Cal did not pressure her anymore. He did not need an annoyed companion for the rest of the time on Kashyyyk. He let go of her arm and let her lead the way down to the ravine.
BD-1 quietly beeped to him, the small droid knowing there was something wrong with the girl as well. Cal wanted to question her more and get the answer from her, but if he wanted her trust, he would have to give TN space and let her come around by herself.
"So, Red Duster, where's this Saw Gerrera?" She asked as she eyed the chasm below them. She noticed they would have to wall run and jump across the chasm to get to the other side.
"He's up there." Cal pointed to the group of rebels above her. She nodded and ran along the rocky wall. He followed behind her, grinning when he did a front flip off the wall.
"What is it with you and showing off?" TN asked, a forced-in chuckle coming out of her as she walked over to a ladder.
"I'm trying to make you feel better."
"Cal, look at me." She grabbed his face with her gloved hands and made him look at her. "I'm fine. If something is wrong, I'll let you know."
She let go of him and climbed up the ladder, Cal shaking his head and scoffing.
Stubborn...always so stubborn. But she is getting better around me.
"Cal, right on time." Saw greeted as he looked down at the sap-manufacturing plant with his binoculars. He turned to face the two newcomers, his eyes landing on TN.
"I'm guessing you're the defected Stormtrooper Cal told us about? I'm glad you decided to join this fight. You're doing the galaxy good." Saw said to her, making the girl blush darkly and a proud smile surfaced on her face.
"Now, here's the plan. It's simple. You two take out the main defenses down below. Once in, release the Wookies and we will have enough fighters to take over the plant. Understand?"
"Yes, sir." TN replied and stood from her spot. She jumped down and slid on the muddy slope below her. Cal quickly followed and helped her take down the first few Stormtroopers surrounding the area. They walked through a doorway which led them to a small corridor. More troopers were around, making TN sigh.
"I now understand why I was annoying." She said and began to shoot down stormtroopers while Cal fight the groundtroopers. This statement made him scoff, the boy looking at her incredulously.
"Was?!" He exclaimed in disbelief as he deflected a red bolt without looking.
TN gave him a look before she and Cal entered a small room, a Purge Trooper twirling his double bladed staff around him. The doors sealed behind the two.
"Finally, a challenge!" The trooper says and begins to stalk toward them.
The girl rolled her eyes, obviously exasperated. "Sure, whatever you say."
She dodged the swings thrown her way as Cal fought with his lightsaber. TN wished she had her staff, but because of that giant she and Cal fought in that Zeffo temple, her staff was nothing but shattered shards.
With one calculated shot, TN brought down the Purge Trooper and they continued on their way to the cellblocks. Her injured arm ached from being used, but the girl ignored it. Cal noticed her discomfort but did not say anything.
"Did you ever come here during your Empire days?" Cal questioned as they squeezed through a small opening in the wall and made their way into another area.
"No. I didn't even know this place existed, to be completely honest. Most of the action I saw was in the field and taking down Jedi." TN replied to him.
Cal emerged first and turned to help her out of the small opening. She let him, even though he could see she hated it.
"Ready for round two?" TN asked when the stormtroopers and groundtroopers around her started to run toward them.
"Ready as I'll ever be."

I'm not the greatest artist, nor am I very good at digital art. I'm better on paper, if I'm being honest. I'll try redrawing this on paper (hopefully) and I might draw her and Cal later on. But yeah, this is kind of how I imagined her so I hope y'all like it. If not, well, everyone is free to have an opinion.
Anyway, I'll let y'all continue on.
