Standing up for yourself
How does that work
Do you say no
Or do you argue for your behalf
Either way you get told to do so at a young age
But when you do you get called rude or disrespectful
How can you truly be happy and yourself in a judgemental world
Most people would say, you can't
But a few daring would say
Fuck the world and thiae who oppose me
I am me and you can't tell me I cannot be myself any longer
For I have been living in my own shadow for too long
Time to see all the things I can truly do.
