A Lost In Space Fanfic

Chapter 2

After we got a good ways away from the fire, I watch as my mate put Will down gently. I walk up too him an nuzzled his head with relief. Sense he was taller than I, he had leaned down in order for me to reach him. After a moment he turned too Will an gently pulled me behind him. He did this because the females of our species weren't really made too fight. My mate and Will just stared at each other for a moment be for he spoke "Thank you." Will said quietly.

I watch as my mate took a couple of step forward an put one of his hands close to his face. I notice how scared the young boy was, out of motherly instincts, I gently moved my mates hand away. I stood in front of him with my back too Will "Your scaring him." I said to him in a soft voice before I turned back too the boy. "Your-Your a girl an you can t-talk." Will said in shock, I sigh "Yes but not too well." I said.

I turned back too my mate as I heard his body transforming, making himself less threatening. I tile my head curiously as he turned to me an gestured for me too do the same. I slowly do the same 'This feels odd.' I thought as I remembered what the boy said. "You crashed, where?" I asked calmly as I turned too him. Will looked up at us for a moment before pointing up over towards the glacier. "Up there." My mate picked him up as we quickly made our way up.

After a few minutes we found his campsite, my mate sat Will down an slowly made his way down the crater. I follow close behind him, one of the humans looked up "What's that!" she said panicked as she saw us. The other 2 gasped an one grabbed it's knife an held it up, I took a step back as my mate held his arm in front of me. I glance over my shoulder as Will came running down.

"It's okay dad." Will said "Will!!" his dad yelled "It's okay, They're, They're with me." Will said as he pointed to us. Then me an my mate heard gasping, I turn too the hole in the ice. I tried to step forward but my mate stopped me an turned too Will  "Danger Will Robinson." he said, I look up at him then back down at Will. He looked at us then back at the ice. "Can you help her?..... Please?" I nod as my mate walked over too the hole. He knelt down an started to melt the ice, I just stood back as he did.

Soon my mate was able too pull out a young girl an gently set her in her dad's arms. If I could I would of smiled at the family. I then notice the snow storm was starting back up. I look too my mate an let out a small whine to get his attention, he looked my way "Keep warm." I said as I pointed to Wills family. He nodes an heated up his body too keep them warm "Thank you." I look down at Will an just nod as we waited for the storm too past.
