I get that I'm not enough
that I've disappointed you
I get it okay?
But you're putting the blame on me
Is it my fault I can not sleep?
I've tried everything
from melatonin,
to overdosing a hand full of times.
It never works,
How can I sleep
when I'm being blamed for lack of control?
How can I sleep,
when I have places to be?
People, to please?
When love is too far out of my reach?
So I've stopped reaching out
for your help
for your forgiveness
for your guidance
and even your love
