As they both entered the store Lorelai was mesmerized looking at all of the potions and mysterious people surrounding her. Yet she still didn't feel safe about coming to this "Black Arts store" so she made sure to not let her guard down. As she continued to look around the store she was drawn to this depressingly ornate mirror.  For some reason she felt as if it was something telling her things weren't right. Lorelai walked to the mirror as she looked at  herself to make sure she looked presentable. I mean, she had just ran into this cute guy after crying and falling. Lorelai was so embarrassed as she remembered she tripped. As she started to wipe off the little pieces of grass on her skirt she then noticed the flower she now had on her hair had turned black. It was such a deep  color, a jet black where you could feel goosebumps coming up your spine as you stared at the flower. Lorelai panicked and quickly tried to get the flower off of her hair as she noticed her amethyst colored hair started to slowly turn into a dark sangria color. Petrified, Lorelai looked all over the store to find Abdiel, where he was now nowhere to be found. Lorelai didn't know what to do, she was confused and felt hurt, worst of all she was scared! What was happening to her hair? Where did Abdiel go? But the thoughts didn't stop her as she ran outside to find Abdiel, noticing there was a note that had fallen. It fell from her pocket. But she didn't remember having anything in there. She opened the note that and read it quietly:
"Be aware, I am not who you think I am and you are not who you think you are,
By the next purple sunrise is when you will see your true form,my queen."
Lorelai didn't like the sound of this. She immediately ran out of the store in full speed as her hair swayed amongst the skies with a drop of sweat rolling down her luscious ivory face. Lorelai bashing through her front door as she ran to her living room checking her calendar hung up on her crooked couch to see when would the next purple sunrise would be. By her surprise, the next purple sunrise was tomorrow.
