I stared at my hands
They were clean of the red
The bag of guilt
Weighed down my head
My eyes were sore
And I felt a need to die
The regret I felt
Death was the lie
- Never do something
which you regret all your life.

The following line "death is a lie" means that when you do something you regret then you think that if you'd is it will be over but when you die the regret increases because you were never able enjoy life and do something do make up to the person to whom you want to express your regret.
