"Bye Richie............." I sighed before walked toward my apartment.

I walked up the steps.

"Hey mom." I smiled and hugged her.

"I told you you'd make friends." she giggled.
But this wasn't a nice giggle.
This was a creepy giggle.

"Uh mom." I awkwardly laughed.

"You're hugging really tight." I squirmed a bit.

"You'll float too." She said before turning into an 8 foot tall clown.

"Time to float." It giggled and started walking toward me.

"I-I-I-I-I-" I couldn't form a proper sentence.

"You're starting to sound like Billy!" It giggled again and I backed up grabbing my skateboard.

"G-Get back." I managed to say.

It laughed then showed millions of rows of teeth pointy and sharp.

I ran to the little door and it grabbed my leg as I was going through.
I put myself on the skateboard and used my hands to put enough force for me to get to the other side the thing was too big to fit into here.

When I looked back up it was gone I slowly crawled back out and looked around holding the skateboard ready to attack.

"Y/n?"
I turned around and almost hit the person.

"Oh mom!" I hugged her.

"Are you okay why did you almost hit me?" She asked.

"Uh I just I thought I heard a noise." I nodded smiling.

"Okay uh honey I've gotta go." She hurried to get her keys.

"What why?! You just got home?!"

"I've got a date." She smiled putting in some earrings.

"O-Oh." I nodded pretending to be happy for her.

"Bye honey." She kisses my cheek then left.

"Bye mom." I sighed as the door closed.

I called Richie because he gave me his number.

"Hey Rich......can we talk??" I asked.

We I met up with him outdid the apartment building.

"What's up?" He asked.

"I dunno I guess I just feel like my mom doesn't have time for me anymore." I sighed.

"Welcome to my world." He laughed and I got on the back of his bike.

"Where do you wanna go?" He asked.

"Arcade then ice cream?" I asked.

"Hell yeah let's go." He smiled which made me giggle.

"What game do you like most?" He asked.

"Paperboy and PAC-MAN." I answered.

"Ew so generic." He joked.

"Well what's yours?" I laughed.

"Street Fighter bitch." He declared in a way to energetic manner.

"Ew so original." I joked and he laughed.

We eventually got to the arcade and he parked his bike.

I hopped off and went into the arcade.

"Want a slushee?" I asked and he nodded.

" 'Kay I'll be back." I nodded and he pwent off somewhere.

I walked back to see him waiting for me near Street Fighter.

"How long where you waiting Richard?" I asked handing him his slushee.

"Oh I don't know just 20 minutes Jesus how long was that line?!" He sighed dramatically putting a token into the game.

"I dunno it's worth it though." I shrugged sipping the slurpee.

We played that for about an hour before it got dark.

We started heading back when I saw something move out of the corner of my eye.

"Rich did you see that?" I asked still looking at the place it moved.

"Hm?" He answered looking around.

"No it's probably just your eyes playin tricks on you." He shrugged.

I sighed and shrugged before sitting down on the sidewalk sipping the last of my slurpee.

"Hold on I'll go get my bike." Richie said before disappearing into the dark.

I sighed before tossing my cup into a trash can and started walking toward where Richie was.

"Richie?" I called and there was no answer.

"Richie c'mon this isn't funny!" I said slightly louder.

"Richie?!" I yelled now.

"RICHIE C'MON I'M GETTING SCARED!" I screamed.

I started speed walking toward where he was supposed to be.

I turned around and-

"Boo."
