The Curse

I open my eyes. I look over at my iPod, sitting on charge.

"Time to check my emails." she says to herself.

I get out of her bed and take my iPod offcharge. I open up my Mail and finds 4 emails waiting for me, all from Wattpad.

Read a new story from Minecraft_aka_Maddie

I smile.

"I can't wait to read it." I say to herself.

I open the email to read the message.

"I LOVE IT!!! Amazing 😀 I might do a bit of Stampy's POV to make it longer, though."

I reply saying; "Ok, thanks!" and go back to Mail to check the other emails.

And I open the final email which says:

Meet your new follower: Katystar423

I love getting new followers... Yay!!

After that I go onto Wattpad and decide to start work on a new chapter for my truth or dare book.

But only 5 minutes after publishing my new chapter, I get a comment.

"Now you have started reading, you can not stop. 500 years ago, there was a teenage princess named Hashi. She used to write books, just like you. She got very famous by the books she wrote.

But one day, she let the fame go to her head and threatened to kill anyone who didn't read her books. And a wise and cunning magician thought she deserved to be punished for that.

So the magician asked Hashi to come to him for her to have her fortune told.

Hashi agreed and at 9:00pm she sat inside the magicians tent, waiting to have her fortune told. But the magician did something very different.

All the characters in her book were evil, so he came up with a cunning plan. He put a curse on her:

A foolish young writer, who will kill if they do not read

Her books, but her plan will not succeed

All her characters of fiction come to life

And suddenly she's the one in strife

But if another young writer doesn't believe

This horrid curse she will receive

The young princess suddenly finds herself getting attacked by her own characters... And the magician takes a small black pebble

But if the writer finds this stone,

She can survive and take the throne

And throughout the land she'll be known

As Ruler of Writers

So don't ignore this message!
Paste it on one other book.

What a load of rubbish!

I turn off my iPod and decide to go have some breakfast.

But all day, I can't stop thinking about that story.

*Time Skip*

I rub my eyes. It's 8:55 and I said I'd go to bed at 9:00. I finish writing my chapter and slip under the covers.

And in my head, I replay the magicians curse.

And suddenly she's the one in strife

I close my eyes and think I hear a voice, but it's inside my head. I know it is.

But if the writer finds this stone,

She can survive and take the throne

And throughout the land she'll be known

As...

I hear a shuffling in my room and I open my eyes. But I'm in my local hospital.

And there, I see a crying girl laying beside a boy.

And what they say next frightens me to death.

"Don't forget me. Don't ever forget me."

I won't, Loki. I won't."

Btw, I have no idea where the name Hashi came from. I guess it's cause I was thinking about hash browns...

Yeah that's me. Naming book characters a potato snack.
