Chapter 3

Betty's POV
I walked into the bathroom and had a thought. I loved Veronica (bestfriend wise) and I didn't want to ruin my amazing friendship with her. I needed to stop being jealous of her and just be a good bestfriend because I haven't been much of one the past 2 months.
I walked out the bathroom and over to Veronica and the boys.
"Veronica can I speak to you please?" I asked.
"Sure Betty" She said kindly.
We walked out to the front of pops the sun was setting.
"Veronica Listen, I'm so sorry I've been mean to you for the past 2 months I was jealous of you and upset and I regret saying shit about you to other people" I said with a tear coming down my face.
"It's ok Betty I forgive you" She said patting me on the back.
I then did the unexpected I kissed Veronica.
"Wow Betty what's that for?" She asked.
"I-I don't know I just missed our friendship and-
"It's ok now let's go back to pops" she giggled.
We linked arms and skipped back into pops.
"I spy two pretty lady's being best friends again" Archie smiled.
"Of course Arch" I said kissing him on the cheek.
Later that night
Veronica's POV
We had just left pops and Archie offered to walk me home, we would of ended up walking together anyway.
"Archie?"
"Yes" Archie said with his hand in his pocket.
"Can I ask you something?" I put my hand on his shoulder asking us stop walking.
"Sure" he smiled.
"Can I look at some photos at your house because I want to fine another copy of the one I had in my room?"
"Yeah of course"
"Thanks Arch"
"It's ok"
We got to his house and walked inside. He got a phone call and went upstairs to take it. I got out the photo box and looked through the photos little me and little Archie haha cute. I walked upstairs to ask Archie where the other photo box.
"Archie?" I asked opening the door.
"You've been gone for a while I just wanted to-
"OH MY GOD ARCHIE!!!" I just walked on him and Betty.
"Ronnie uhhh!!!" He asked not finding any words.
"I'm gonna go now by Arch" I said running down stairs.
"Ronnie wait I was gonna help you with the photo thingy"
"I'm fine Archie!"
I walked over to my house and went upstairs I slammed my door and locked it so no one could come in. I don't even know why I'm upset I know that their dating and all but I don't even know. I just sat on my bed crying until I heard a knock on my bedroom door.
"Who is it!" I yelled.
"It's you dad can I come in" Fp asked.
I walked over to my door to unlock it. Fp saw that I was crying.
"What's wrong Ronnie?" He asked sitting on my bed patting my back.
"I walked in on Archie and Betty" I said wi5 a tear coming down my cheek.
"Why are you upset?" He asked.
"I don't even know"
He pulled me into a hug.
"You obviously like Archie but that's ok it's normal to have feelings for the people who care about you or someone close to you" My dad was the best st making me feel better.
"Now do you want to go and play some football at the park!" He yelled.
At that time Jellybean and Jughead came running into my room.
"Hell Yeah!" We all yelled.
"Now go get ready!" Dad yelled.
He truly knew how to make us laugh and be happy he was a true dad.
Message from Archie now
A-I'm sorry
V-don't be you guys are dating
A-wanna come over again?
V-I can't I'm doing something with my family
A-can I join?
V-who said you weren't family!
A-bro
V-bro?😂
A-be right over😂
V-okay then😑
I put some sneakers on with some black shorts and a white T-shirt. Then I heard a knock on the door.
"I'll get it!" Jellybean yelled.
"Finally I don't have to get it!" I laughed.
"It's your boyfriend!" Jellybean yelled.
I walked down stairs to see who she meant.
"Oh hey Archie" I giggled.
"And he's not my boyfriend he's my best friend" I said putting Jellybean into a head lock.
"Get off!" She yelled.
I was laughing my head off.
"Fine!"
"Thank you bitch" she mumbled.
"Watch it! You need me in your life" I said smiling at her.
"True true"
Archie and I walked upstairs and saw Jughead.
"Jughead my bro" I said giving him a high five.
"Veronica the weirdo" he laughed.
"Says the I'm weird I'm a weirdo guy"I said.
Archie and I got to my bedroom.
"Guess what I found!" He said putting his hand in his pocket.
"Omg you found the photo!" I yelled hugging him.
"Sorry I got excited" I said hanging off of him.
"Your light so it's fine" he said just standing there.
"I know I am" I went and put the picture back were it belonged.
"Let's go to the park!!!" My dad yelled.
