His Innocent Angel

Chapter 21:

Reegan's POV:
I ask, "So, are we going to do something while the four kids are sleeping?"

Alice says, "Let's do face masks!"

I ask, "They won't do anything for us."

Alice pouts and I say, "I'll put one on if the boys go first. I'll put Emmett's on."

Emmett groans and I say, "Oh, shut up. It's not that bad. We can match."

Emmett says, "If it will make you happy, baby."

I smile and say, "Which ones do you have Alice?"

Alice says, "Follow me. I'll show you."

I whisper in his ear, "If you move no sex for a month."

Emmett nods and I get up and leave with Alice. As we leave I hear, "She's got you around her finger and she knows it."

Emmett slightly growls and I ask, "Do you have the bubble face mask?"

Alice smiles and says, "I do."

I smile and reply, "Can I have that one?"

She hands it to me and I go back to the living room and picture Emmett looking like a cloud. Edward snorts and laughs out loud. I sit on Emmett's lap and put it on him and myself. We wait and Perrie puts this one on her and Edward. Rose got the pink one and Connor looks ridiculous. I smirk to myself and imagine Emmett with the peel off pink one on his face. Edward laughs and I take pictures of Emmett and I until we have to take it off. Emmett said, "I looked like a cloud."

I reply, "A hot cloud."

Emmett chuckles and kisses my cheek. I get up and check on Alicia. She's sound asleep and so are Mason, Emma, and Athena. I go back downstairs and say, "All asleep."

I ask, "Did you like your face mask?"

Em replies, "It feels weird. How did you put those on willingly?"

I say, "Sometimes beauty is fun and other times it hurts. I can put one of the peel off ones on you next time. Those can hurt. Alice, next time we should do our makeup routines on them."

Alice says, "Your a genius."

Emmett says, "No."

I give him a look and Edward laughs and says, "She finds this amusing. She is thinking of putting makeup on you though."

Emmett whines, "No makeup, babe."

I say, "Fine. My daughter will start with makeup early then."

Em says, "Let her be a child until she looks at least 17."

I say, "No, 12. That's final."

Em nods and asks, "14?"

I think about it and say, "Fine. If she asks then she can use it."

Next Day:
I get changed into a romper and head out to the hospital with the car seat for Jesse.
Romper:

Emmett comes up to me with my baby and I grab her. I feed her as I hold her. I kiss Emmett goodbye and head to the hospital and I see Jake. He looks tired and I say, "You didn't get any sleep did you?"

He shakes his head no. I say, "Do you have everything?"

He says, "Do babies need a lot of clothes and diapers?"

I say, "They go through them like a kid does candy. When you think you have enough diapers get more. Make sure they are the right size. Also get buttcream so he doesn't get a rash. You have to rub that everywhere. Pay attention to how much stuff you have and make note when you need more. Never wake a sleeping baby. Got it."

Jake nods and says, "I think I need sleep."

I ask, "Did you drink any coffee? I'll put in the car seat."

I put it in and I hold Jesse for a little bit and I ask, "Do I need to take him so you can sleep?"

Jake nods. I go to my car and say, "Follow me."

I place him in his car seat and say, "Don't you fall asleep behind the wheel. Nevermind. I'll put him in my car."

I unbuckle him and place him in my car and drive to the house and walk inside with Jesse and Jake falls asleep on the couch and I say, "Jacob! Go upstairs."

He gets up and goes upstairs. I hold Jesse and we take care of him for a few hours as Jake is sleeping. Rose says, "I can't believe that witch made him."

I say, "He's a cute baby."

It's been around 4-5 hours he's been here and I got Emmett to change his dirty diapers. I smile because of the faces Emmett makes while doing so. Jake finally walks downstairs and says, "My dad was wondering where I was. I told him we are coming home now. Thanks for taking care of him while I was getting some sleep."

I reply, "You're welcome."

Jacob picks up his son and puts him in his car and drives off and I say, "Emmett. The faces you made while changing the diaper were priceless."

Emmett slightly growls at me and I wink at him and run off. I hear him growl as he chases me in the forest. I run to the meadow  and wait in the middle of it and pick a flower. I know Emmett is behind me and I say, "It's beautiful in the fall."

I turn around to find Emmett on one knee and I gasp. He says, "Reegan Swan. I had a little speech planned but I forgot what it was when I saw you in here. I wanted to know if you would do me the honor of being my wife?"

I have tears in my eyes and I say, "Yes!"

He slides my ring on and picks me up and twirls me around.

Ring:

He kisses me and we walk back to the house and Alice squeals and says, "I knew you would love the ring! I saw him deicde on it."

Perrie comes and inspects the ring and says, "Good job. Congrats."

Rose and Esme compliment my ring and I say, "Emmett did a great job picking it out."

Alice slightly squeals, "I have so many ideas for your wedding!"

We quiet her down so the kids can have there nap. I say, "Alice we need to decide on a date before planning. I have ideas for my dress though."
