His Innocent Angel

Chapter 26:

Edward gets up and gets the door and it's Seth. Seth comes in and says, "Hi."

I say, "Seth, she's in the kitchen with Esme making me food."

Seth asks, "Vampires don't eat, do they? Did they lie to me?"

I start to laugh and say, "I somehow managed to get pregnant again and I want parmesan crusted chicken with cauliflower au gratin."

Seth makes an 'oh' face and heads to the kitchen and he comes back and says, "Why does she look five?"

I say nonchalantly, "She had a grow spurt and slept for a day."

Emmett says, "We are trusting you with her until tomorrow."

Seth looks nervous and I say, "Go, have some fun but bring her back in one piece."

Seth leaves with her and I cuddle back into Emmett's side and Esme brings out my food and I smile and say, "Thank you."

I sit there and eat my chicken and cauliflower till its gone and Esme takes my plate and I say, "Can we watch a movie?"

Alice says, "Sure. What do you want to watch?"

I say, "Knives Out."

I take my crown off and set it on the table as Alice starts the movie. Emmett rubs my stomach while the movie is playing and Carlisle brings out a cup with blood in it and gives it to me and I drink it. My eyes start to droop and I lay my head on Emmett's chest and I fall asleep.

I wake up to feel little hands rubbing my bump that has definitely grown a lot. I look 22 weeks pregnant now. I catch Emma, Athena, and Mason rubbing my stomach. They look up and I say, "What are you doing?"

They look scared and I laugh and say, "Please, continue. Your uncle Emmett is always touching my stomach. It's quite relaxing."

They smile and climb onto the couch and they touch my stomach and I watch them and see that now all of the kids look 5 years-old. I say, "Why don't we go prank uncle Emmett?"

Emmett yells, "No, you aren't."

I mouth, "We are."

I motion them to follow me and we go to the video games and movie holders and I take out all of the dvd's and place the video games into them and put the dvd's into random game cases. I say, "Why don't we go find your parents?"

I lift up Athena and hold her as she's very sleepy and Mason holds my hand and Emma holds onto my t-shirt. We wander around and I find Edward in his music room and drop off his kids and give them hugs and they kiss my stomach and I smile. I wander around the house some more and I find Rose and Connor cuddled in their bed together and I mouth, "Are you naked?"

Rose shakes her head no and I hand her Athena whose asleep. I head upstairs to my room and find Emmett on the bed. I smile and walk to the closet and put on one of Emmett's sweatshirts and head to the bed. I lay beside him with his arms around me and I ask, "How do you feel about having another baby?"

Emmett looks at me and says, "Reegan, I love you so much and I'm already a dad to our beautiful little girl. I'll gladly be a dad as many times as you can get pregnant."

I tear up at his confession and say, "I love you too, Emmett. Did you change me?"

Emmett laughs and says, "Yeah. The romper was getting small as your bump started to grow rapidly and I got you into your sweats and my shirt."

He pulls me to straddle his waist and he sits up and I move back a little and hold onto his biceps. I get distracted by them and he chuckles and I smile at him innocently and his eyes darken. I lean a little bit forward and I peck his cheek. He growls slightly and pulls me in for a passionate kiss. When we pull away I say, "That was the reason I'm pregnant again."

He chuckles and I smile at him and ask, "What about names?"

Emmett says, "Boy or girl?"

I say, "Let's start with boy names."

Em says, "Ryan"

I say, "Andrew. Andrew Ryan or Ryan Andrew McCarty-Cullen?"

Emmett replies, "Ryan Andrew Cullen. Girl names?"

I smile and say, "Nicole Kylie Cullen or Kylie Nicole McCarty-Cullen?"

Emmett smiles and says, "I like Nicole Kylie McCarty-Cullen."

I lay on Emmett and look at him and he watches me and I make faces at him and he chuckles at me. I lay on my side since that's comfortable and Emmett places his hands on my bump. My head rests on his shoulder and Em whispers, "Go to sleep baby."

I close my eyes and fall asleep on Emmett with an arm around his waist. He moves slightly and I tighten my grip on him and he rubs my back and I fall into a deep sleep. I snuggle into Emmett as I wake up. I groan a bit and open my eyes and I see Em smiling at me and he huskily says, "Good evening, baby."

I look at the clock and it says 6:14 p.m. I mumble, "Evening, Em."

I stretch a little and Emmett whistles and I laugh and say, "Stop it!"

Emmett gets up and pull me close to him and replies, "Never"

He leans down and kisses me softly and says, "Alicia will be back after dinner tonight."

I say, "Mmm. Ok. How long do you think we have until baby 2 pops out?"

Emmett smiles and says, "I don't know. Propbably not much longer with the way your pregnancy is progressing."

I nod and he rubs my had and I randomly say, "I feel like a balloon."

Emmett gapes at me and says, "You are not a balloon. My son or daughter is in there."

I tear up and say, "But I look like a fucking whale, Emmett!"

He hugs me and says, "If we were whales, I'd still get you pregnant."

I laugh and say, "You're a weirdo."

Emmett smiles crookedly and says, "But I'm your weirdo."

I reply and say, "I want chicken nuggets."

His mouth falls open and I say, "I'll get you to eat some with me!"

Emmett yells, "No!"

I swat him and he mumbles, "Ow."

We go downstairs and I see a bag of chips and Edward laughs at me and I start to cry. Emmett comes over and growls at Edward and Perrie hits Edward and he mumbles, "Sorry."

Emmett holds me and Alice snaps some pictures and she says, "You two are so cute! You never know if this will happen again."

I smile at him and think back on these two weeks of being pregnant again. We are taking this slow since we don't know how long this pregnancy will last since the last time I was pregnant is was for 4 weeks not around two. Carlisle hands me a glass filled with blood and I drink it. I then eat the bag of chips and Esme brings out some nuggets and some ranch and barbeque sauce and I mix them together and I eat my nuggets. I finish my nuggets and cuddle into Emmett. After a while of watching the tv I feel a tight squeezing motion in my stomach and I hunch forward. Jasper's eyes shoot to me and he watches and Emmett looks very concerned. He rubs my back and I relax when it goes away. Rose and Esme watch me too. Jasper keeps an eye on me and after about 10 minutes it happens again and my eyes roll into the back of my head. Esme calls Carlisle and tells him what's happening and he said he'll be back as soon as he can. Carlisle finally got here after about 2 hours and they are getting closer together and Jasper is sitting next to me while Emmett paces. Another one hits and I squeeze Jasper's arms and scream. Jasper says, "I can try to ease the pain but I can't promise you anything."

Rose says, "They are now 4 minutes apart."

Jasper helps me up to walk around and Emmett watches me carefully and walks behind me and as I'm walking my water breaks and Carlisle rushes inside the house and Emmett takes me upstairs and everyone of the girls and Jasper follows behind us. Carlisle checks my cervix and says, "You are ready to push, Reegan."

I push and scream in pain. I keep pushing for around 10 minutes and the baby comes out and Carlisle says, "Here's your beautiful baby girl!"

I mumble, "Let me hold Miss Nicole Kylie McCarty-Cullen."
