Jennie was scrolling through her phone, waiting for her flight to be called. Woo-Jong hadn't texted her since she told him to fuck off. Thank god. A few minutes later, she heard her gate called. "Finally", she said, and hurried over.
~15 Hours Later~
Jennie woke up to one of the passengers beside her waking her. She thanked him, and made her way off the plane. She texted Taehyung to let him know her flight had landed, and he responded saying that he would be there in 20.
In the meantime, Jennie called Lisa to talk to her. The two had been talking about Jennie's new song she was writing when Taehyung arrived. She and Lisa said their goodbyes before Jennie walked up to Taehyung.
"Hey", she said hugging him. He returned the hug and kissed her forehead. "How was your flight?", he asked. "Good.", he nodded. The couple walked past the crowd of people and were met with paparazzi outside. Jennie wasn't shocked.
The two hadn't made their relationship known, and with them being idols, it was nearly impossible that they could keep it secret for long. It still frustrated her though. Idols deserved privacy just as much as anyone else, but people would just tell her this is what you signed up for.
"Imagine if paparazzi wasn't a thing. The world would be so much more peaceful.", she whispered to Tae. He let out a chuckle. "I agree but, there would still be fans talking pictures and posting them all over social media so, it would make that much of a difference.", he responded putting her luggage in the trunk.
During the car ride, Jennie didn't mention Woo-Jong, as she felt Taehyung would feel guilty for making her go on this trip. He knew how close she was to Woo-Jong, and he didn't want to be the cause of them falling out. Jennie was saddened that he thought that way.
Even though Woo-Jong was there for Jennie first, he had to understand that she was bound to get a boyfriend. She couldn't be single and give him all her attention forever. He needed to respect her relationship just like she respected his, and needed to be there for her if she got hurt, just like she was for him.
The thought of Woo-Jong not supporting her made her stomach churn. He was an important person to her. He was like a big brother, of course she wanted his approval of Taehyung. But if he was gonna act a fool for no reason, she'd rather stick with her gut.
The day had been fun. The two went shopping, ate lunch, and went for ice cream. Jennie had been having so much fun that she didn't even realize her phone was buzzing until Taehyung said something. She checked it to see that the caller ID was Woo-Jong.
"You can answer him.", Taehyung assured her. She did so, and could hear Woo-Jong yelling from the other line. "Hold on, I need to go over there.", she told Tae, and he nodded. She walked over to an empty bench, and spoke.
"Calm the fuck down. What did you call me for?", she asked. "Why the fuck did let paparazzi see you?!", she screamed. She grunted, pulling her phone away from her ear a bit. "What else was I supposed to do huh? Hide behind a fucking bush? Why does it matter anyway?"
"It matters because it's all over the news!", Woo-Jong yelled. Jennie didn't know what the big deal was. People were going to find out eventually so there was no reason for him to be upset. "Oh people found out, boo hoo. I feel so sorry for you. Grow up.", she yelled, hanging up.
Storming back over to Taehyung, she blocked Woo-Jong so that he couldn't contact her for the rest of her trip. Taehyung saw how angry Jennie was, and stood up. "Hey, you okay?", he asked, rubbing her back. "Yeah, I'm fine, let's go."
Later that night, she checked Instagram and saw all the notifications she got since she landed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
