"i know, ryland. it's ok, i get it. i have a bunch of friends who are guys, it wouldn't be fair if you weren't allowed to be friends with other girls," she responds.
"you're not mad?" he asks.
"well, i was at first, but listening to and seeing you explain made me feel a lot better."
