The Etou family is currently in the hospital, the mother had gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Saori Etou. the son, (y/n) Etou was pretty excited of the thought of being a big brother, to be the one that has the duty of protecting his little sister

"(Y/n),...meet your imouto , Saori Etou"

Near the hospital bed, a 9-year-old boy sat staring at the bundle in his mother's gentle hold

Rapidly nodding both adults chuckled before the father helped to give Saori in (y/n)'s arms in a cradle position

Saori-chan was almost a year old now, she had grown quite a lot in just 1 year, like the patch of black hair has grown to almost hide her ears and logically she was bigger. (Y/n) in the meantime was playing with his little sister almost nonstop, with the exception being when he's in school or does homework, which neither one does any problem to him. Currently, mother is trying to make the almost year-old baby talk,

Both mom and I stared at Saori as she giggled at our expressions

"Her first word is me!"

At 5 years old, it was the first time my little sister would go to school

"Are ya nervous Saori-chan?"

Looking up at her 14-year-old brother Saori nodded with a nervous look

"Y-yes, onii-chan. I don't w-want to leave mom, dad and you!"

I chuckled before lifting Saori up for a hug

"We are not leaving you, especially not me, Imouto. School is a great place to meet a lot of new friends and to educate yourself. Whenever you're in trouble, you know I'm always here to help you"

Returning the hug Saori smiled lightly

"I know Onii-chan, that's why I love you!"

Saori shouted happily as I let her down
