Mistake..?

Nagito Point of View

I sit in class, waiting. I'm early, as usual. Smudged marker covers my desk. Kokichi helped me today. Again. He strolls back into the room, smiling.

"Hey, Nagito! Take out your phone!" He says suddenly. "Hm? Okay." I pull my phone out of my pocket. "What do you need?" I ask, genuinely curious. "You're gonna put my number in your phone! Just type it in, it's easy!" I reluctantly did as asked.

"I feel like you're up to something, Kokichi." I said as I sat down. He gave me a sly look along with a reply. "Why do ya say that? We're friends, friends have each other's numbers!" I sighed and ignored him.

The day went by fast, nothing special happening.

After school, I decided to text Kokichi.

HopeFanatic: Hey Kokichi.

Hajimeme: Who?

HopeFanatic: Ah, sorry. Must have typed in the wrong number. Sorry for bothering you..

Hajimeme: Nah it's fine

Hajimeme: If you want, we can keep talking

HopeFanatic: Sure, that sounds cool..!

Hajimeme: One sec

OJMan: Hey, how about we play 20 questions?? since we dont know each other

HopeFanatic: Sounds fun, you go first.

OJMan: Alright, are you a guy or a girl?

HopeFanatic: Guy.

HopeFanatic: My turn, are you a boy or a girl?

OJMan: Same question, eh? I'm a boy as well

HopeFanatic: Cool..

OJMan: Alright... What's your name?

HopeFanatic: Nagito Komaeda, what's yours?

OJMan: Hajime Hinata. Feel like I've heard your name before tho. Weirrrd

HopeFanatic: Huh..

OJMan: So, favorite color?

HopeFanatic: Probably green.

HopeFanatic: What's your sexuality?

OJMan: uhm

OJMan: ...

Oh man: I... I gotta go.

HopeFanatic: Sorry, is that a touchy subject?

OJMan is offline.

I felt terrible. I couldn't tell if I said something wrong. I teared up a bit.

"Damn it Nagito..! I guess I'll go should sleep, then.."

I laid my head down on the pillow after plugging in my phone. I let out a deep sigh and closed my eyes. "Goodnight, Hajime..." Soon after, I was asleep.
