Eren Yeager's POV

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU CALLED MAGGOT?!?!"

Instructor Keith Shadis went up directly in front of my face, screaming at me

"EREN YEAGER FROM SHIGANSHINA DISTRICT! SIR!"

He scrutinized me

"AND WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE?!"

He asked me, screaming at my face once again

"TO COMMIT A MASS GENOCIDE ON THE TITANS SIR!!!"

I promulgated with quite a bit of enthusiasm in my voice

He seemed content with the answer

"That's quite overboard but I like your passion!"

He then proceeded to walk away towards the next person beside me

He was obscuring my view of a very cute and petite blonde girl

'How cute...'

I thought to myself as I examined her

As I accidentally made eye contact with her and she looked away with a small and unnoticeable blush gracing her face

As the instructor finished interrogating the person next to me, he was distracted by a girl eating a potato?!

He walks up to the girl eating a potato in her hands

"Ummm... what is that cadet?"

He was rather shocked by her audacity

She does a salute as she speaks...

"YES SIR! THIS IS A STEAMED POTATO!"

I could only stifle a laugh, as if I even thought about laughing, it'll mean my death...

"And why are you eating one here?"

He was getting more silent with each word

But the girl was unfazed by his intimidation, or was she just too stupid?

"SIR! IT'S BEST TO EAT A STEAMED POTATO WARM! AS IT'S MORE DELICIOUS!"

She's in for it now

"That's not what I meant..."

He became even more quiet

As she split the potato in half and offered a piece to him...

"Do you want one sir?"

Instructor Keith Shadis was dead silent

'Yep... she's dead'

It was now time for dinner after the introduction to our new training regimen and all that stuff...

I sat with Mikasa and Armin as I try to scoop a spoonful of god knows what this is...

The bread was quite stale but it'll do...

"Hey Eren, you liking our warm welcome to the training corps?"

Armin asks me to break the silence

"I'm looking forward to some training and I'll finally be able to join the Scouting Regimen!"

I reply with taking a bite out of my stale bread
