Ms. Bustier is praising all of us for our last assignment. I mean, it was a fantasy-themed short story, and of course, I did well on that. My specialty in bullshitting coupled with my crackhead imagination blew it out of the water.

Alya wasn't paying attention to Ms. B. She was holding up a photo with the middle cut out. What is she doing? She starts looking through the hole in the paper and putting it up to people's faces. She gets to me, then tilts her head suspiciously. I facepalm. God, I really hope she doesn't do anything stupid. She has a tendency to jump to conclusions.

"Is Marinette still in the ladies' room?" Ms. B asks Alya.

Yikes, Mari is out saving Paris right now. I don't know why Adrien is still here. Maybe he doesn't know there's an Akuma attack right now.

"Ms. B, it's a full moon," I tell her. She looks at me like I'm crazy for a second. I raise my eyebrows and she immediately nods her head.

"Ah I see, thank you Y/N." The class looks at me like I'm part of some secret teacher thing. What can I say? My best friend Ruby made that our way of saying we're on our period. I love the ominous werewolf threat it gives off. I told Mari, Alya and Ms. B about it for situations just like this.

Ms. B hands out our next assignment: reading chapter three of "the breathtaking" France: the First Thousand Years then filling out a questionnaire on it. Jeez, come on, I already have so much homework. Ms. B hands me Mari's homework so I can give it to her. I nod and walk out.

I see Adrien check his phone then bolt out of the building. Finally, better late than never when it comes to akumas. Alya is looking for Mari. She asks me if I want to join her.

"Mari is a big girl. I'm sure she will find us when she comes back," I say with a smile. Alya just nods and goes to check the bathroom. I go to the locker rooms to get my stuff. I have a replica LB yoyo in there. I don't want people to think I'm a diehard fan, it's a backup for Mari just in case. You never know, there was that Simon Says dude who rendered LB's yoyo useless. After that, I tried to carry a backup where ever I go. I may occasionally play with it sometimes. What? It's fun!

I reach my locker and open it. I look around to see if anyone's watching. The coast is clear. I grab the yoyo and slip it in my bag. I hear someone gasp. I whip my head up to see no one. Eugh, creepy. I close my locker and head out. I do another double-check for anyone who may be here. No one. Weird, I swear I heard someone.

I reach the stairs outside and my phone beeps. I check it to see a broadcast of LB and Chat receiving the praise for stopping the Akuma. Nice, that was quick. I decide to go to Mari's house to give her the homework and congratulate her.

I get to her bakery, say hi to Tom and Sabine (My Lord! I love those two to death) then head upstairs. Right when I close the door to Mari's room she jumps through the window.

"AHHH!"

"Good lord, Mari it's just me. Congrats on the win today, here's your homework," I hand over her bag. She sends me a smile then a glare when she realizes my joke. I giggle a bit and plop down on her chaise. She starts telling me all about the attack, how Chat didn't show up until halfway through the fight, how this villain had the strangest motivation (second to Mr. Pidgeon) and how their powers weren't even that powerful. I love it when Mari rants. She gets so into it. Waving her arms around, her volume fluctuates dramatically (it goes particularly loud when talking about Chat). She's just so cute.

Mari suddenly stops talking, looks at her phone to see a call coming in. She answers it and I can hear Alya's screaming from here.

"GURL! You will not believe this!"Alya screeches into the phone."
