i can give myself freedom
and change the pronounces i've been using all my (still so short) life
because it doesn't even matter, because i will still be me
pronounces such as she/they
finally accepting my non-binary part,
a feeling stinging inside of my chest
which has been there a while,
the bee-sting, wanting to tell me i'm not myself yet
