evening daydream;

i had a daydream about you
but it was
2:44 a.m.

we were surrounded by
flesh-colored pillows, all the types of snacks laying around us-

light coming from my little
fairy lights and
the soft-burning candles-

i looked at you
and at that moment
my whole world stopped;

my lungs collapsed and everything just
stood still like
time didn't exist anymore

and all i did was
drowning in your universe-puddle eyes
and i just couldn't look away
