It was the next day, the first day of classes at the school of friendship for Rex Dei. He made it out of his room still with a bit of a small limp after Crimson had deliver breakfast for him. Crimson decided to stay back a bit longer since he doesn't have classes till the afternoon.
Rex trotted down the hall with a welcoming smile on his face down to his first class with Fluttershy but right before he got to the door he was knocked down by a light pink blur. He winced in pain as he skidded a metre across the floor. Opening his eyes slightly the pink blur came into view.
She had reached a claw out as other colourful blurs came into view. She said her voice full of worry, "I'm so, so sorry! Are you okay?!"
"Silverstream! I told you not to run!" Sandbar, a limed coloured earth pony, shouted with a blue griffin, changeling, orange dragon and yack behind him. They all jogging up to the scene.
Fluttershy made her way out the class room with some of her animals rushing past her to the red head on the floor. Five bunnies hovered round his head, a brown bear behind him looking for any serious injuries and the other little critters such as skunks, hedgehogs, mice and birds fluttering around him, making all sorts of worried sounds.
The hippogriff backed away looking surprised at the scene as a bunny of two sent her some glares that could kill. Everyone around who could see the scene looked in shock and wonder for many reasons but the main two were; Who was the new student? and why were the animals so protective of him...?
