Miku's POV
I suddenly heard my fairy godmother behind me
"Looks like you failed to complete your task Miku" said Meiko
"Fairy godmother" I said
"Your what" said Kaito
"I just couldn't do it, I can't kill him" I said
"What is going on" Kaito asked
"Well your majesty, your so called wife here made a deal with me that if I gave her the power to go to the ball that in return, she would kill you" said Meiko
"Miku....is that what you afraid to tell me" said Kaito
"Yes" I said
"But since you failed to complete your mission, looks like our deal is over" said Meiko
She casts a spell on me and my beautiful clothes turned back into my old, dirty ones
"This is who Miku truly is....tell me Kaito, is she still the woman you fell in love with at first sight" Meiko asked
I turned away from Kaito with tears streaming down my face
"Actually...I don't care what she looks like on the outside. It's what's on the inside that matters" said Kaito
"Wait what" me and Meiko said
Kaito came over to me and embraced me in a big hug
"You're not freaked out or disgusted by my appearance" I said
"Miku, your appearance doesn't matter, inside, you are still the most beautiful woman I ever met. I'd be proud and honored to have you as my wife" said Kaito
"No, this is not how things were supposed to turn out" said Meiko
"Look I don't know who you are, but I want to know is why you wanted me dead" said Kaito
"Uh.....well would you look at the time. It sure is getting late, I should probably get going" said Meiko and she disappeared
"Miku, why didn't you tell me about this" said Kaito
"I was afraid of how you would react. I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of all these people by showing them my true appearance" I said
"Like I said before, your appearance didn't matter to me" said Kaito
"So you're not mad" I said
"If I was mad, would I do this" said Kaito
We both shared a deep kiss with each other, I could feel my face heating up
"I love you Miku" said Kaito
"I...I love you too Kaito" I said
Everyone in the crowd was cheering for me and Kaito. My family came up to me and we shared a big hug together
