sirius is a brilliant artist and remus inspires him. when remus is in the hospital wing after the full moon, sirius waits by his bedside and sketches him while he sleeps, capturing every feature of his lover's body perfectly. in fact, he has a whole sketch book filled primarily with moony, but also little doodles created whilst bored in class and drawings of various things he finds around the hogwarts grounds. his favourite things to draw are hands, and he's practiced a lot with his boyfriend's. his friends know that he's a talented artist, but he tends to keep his work secret, especially from remus as his pieces are often very emotional and more cathartic for him than anything else. however, one morning, after a particularly nasty full moon, sirius shows his boyfriend all of the drawings in his sketchbook, hoping they might make him feel a bit better. he's very nervous that remus might think that the sheer amount of drawings of himself is creepy, but instead remus is amazed and incredibly touched. remus kisses his boyfriend with as much passion as he can muster in his current state and tells him that he should share his art with the world more.
