Fighting

I die everyday when I see you,

I bet you wouldn't belive this to be true.

I can't be with you,

Nor without you.

You drive me insane,

But when I see you, I see rain.

For you are not the one I used to know,

It's only my fault for being so slow.

I notice the rain drops around the room,

Shredding me with a feel of gloom.

But a ray of light shines at last,

Cleaning all the wounds of the past.

You've changed so much since then,

Even if it was all pretend,

I still wouldn't change a thing.

But I always ask myself,

Why am I fighting for the girl that doesn't want me around?

And that's when the tears hit the ground.

And I fall like a bowling pin,

As though I have committed a sin.
