"My lady, you need to get up now. The breakfast will be ready soon..."
Martha said as she opened the curtains of the balcony.
"Hmm... I'm still sleepy..." Hinatak ko ang blanket at tinakpan ang mukha ko pero hinatak ni Martha iyon.
Naalimpungatan ako sa ginawa niya kaya pinandilatan ko siya.
"I know you still lack some rest but you also need your energy back. You have to eat since you were unconscious for a week."
Agad akong napaupo sa sinabi ni Martha. I was unconscious for a week? Come to think of it, I can't remember what happened to Violet. Ano kayang nangyari? Did she die? Is that the reason I replaced her body?
"My lady?" Napatingin ako kay Martha, nagtataka bakit ako natahimik.

Akala ko ay aalis na siya pero pinanood niya lang ako. I tilted my head and gave her a confused look.
"Yes? You still have anything to say?" Huminto ako sa paglakad at tinanong siya.
She clapped her hand and maids started to come to my bathrom.
"Pardon our intrusion." Saad nila bago lumapit sa akin at hinubaran ako.
What the heck?!
"H-hey! What.. are you doing?!" Nagulat ako sa ginawa nila. Hinatak ko pabalik ang damit ko at umiwas sa kanila.
"We'll help you take a bath, my lady, why?" She stared at me like I am some kind of migrant for asking what they're doing!
Is this normal to them?
Namumula ako dahil sa ginagawa nila. Ang awkward kasi hindi naman ako sanay sa ganito. The maids handled everything. From removing my clothes and scrubbing my body.
I can't do this set-up!

But the hellish part is the dressing up. It's so exhausting! I can't even imagine how the ladies in this place manage to wear dresses like this.
The corset had to be as slim as a coke? Wow, nakakahinga pa kaya sila kapag gano'n?
"W-wait! It's already t-tight!" I exhaled at the maid who was tightening my corset even more.
I could barely breathe she keeps pushing the lace tightly.
"But you wanted this, no?" She looked at me, confused.
Umirap ako dahil sa sinabi niyang iyon. I can recall Violet's memories and I can't refute. I mean, she is technically right.
"But I'm not Violet!" Is what I want to say.
Sobrang bigat ng damit na suot ko. Patong-patong ang mga dress. My undergarments, a thin linen followed by a knee-length undertunic then a kirtle. In short, a dress worn over another dress. So old-fashioned.
Mahirap gumalaw kaya dapat mahinhin lang ang galaw mo. I think It will take some time for me to get used to these things.
"Okay. You're done, my lady!" Finally.
Hinayaan lang nila na nakalugay ang buhok ko.
"You're so pretty, lady Violet!" Pumalakpak siya habang masaya akong pinagmamasdan.
