I remember asking myself what was so special with you, when all you ever did was tease me for my crooked teeth. I even had to ask my mom if I could have braces, so you wouldn't make fun of me anymore. Little did I know, you were teasing me because you wanted to get to know me more. Papansin! Hahaha. Come fourth year, you bravely asked me if you can court me. I was hesitant, but I accepted. I was slowly getting enchanted with your eyes, your smile, your words, your gestures. I found myself falling for you. Our first six years together was a rollercoaster ride. There were so many highs and lows, laughs and tears, happiness and sorrow. Even then, it was the best six years of my life. We had to part for two years. Akala ko it was the end for us kasi we already went our separate ways. I avoided you because I was afraid I'd beg you over and over to take me back. To choose me again. To love me again. But the years apart helped us grow and become more mature. And now, here we are again. Together. Thank you for texting me again out of the blue. It sparked my hope that maybe there's still a chance for us. Though I won't deny I still had reservations nung umpisa. But I'm glad we gave it another go. Look at us now, about to course through life together. Wala nang bawian! Can't wait to marry you, love!
