The Himalayan (Blue Poppy) gets its blue colour from the pigment delphinidin as well as the flowers ability to maintain acidic conditions inside the plant cells, but both of the conditions must be present to give the flower the blue colour of the Himalayan (Blue Poppy)

Cherry Glow: The Cherry Glow Poppy flower is a annual flower again meaning it only blooms for its flowering season. Cherry Glow can be planted in spring and summer it all depends on how long it takes for you to get to it as it takes around fourteen (14) weeks for it to go from seed to full blooming flower.  Now just like the Black Swan Poppy this flower is as well a true Poppy as it is in the same family, that family being Papaveraceae. There is another thing the Cherry Glow and the Black Swan Poppy have in common as well! They are both poisonous. SO don't go eating it.
