ANOTHER MONDAY NIGHT RAW would soon conclude, and the three gloomy souls that shared a practice ring from the gym area in the performance center couldn't feel any more insignificant with their lack of air time.
Billie Kay wore a pout as she glanced at one of the large monitors in the gym while Peyton Royce's eyes began to swell up with tears. Between the duo, Hadley shared their frustration and glumness with a heavy sigh.
They all wanted to be a part of the live tapings so badly, but their material kept getting rejected. Hadley's heart felt heavy for the two Aussie's because she knew how crazily passionate they were for the business. They spoke in their own gibberish about their ideas constantly, always dreaming of more. The idea to execute such dreams into fruition however, was scarce.
It would be inappropriate for Hadley to tell them that she at least wanted to face the scrutiny of rejection, because that would mean that she at least got to the chance to present her ideas to Vince for the ultimate approval . Yet, the weeks had passed and her grandfather kept delivering on nothing but empty promises— "we'll go over it tomorrow" and "sorry, I didn't have time, find me after a show."
After one too many excuses, Hadley truly gave up on searching for Vince after a show since she knew he wouldn't be there either way. She had decided to lay low for a few days and wait for the perfect opportunity — to wait for the day she could pounce on him without an exit nearby.
Hadley was going to be heard,
sooner or later.
❝Maybe we can pitch an all Aussie invasion.❞ Peyton spoke up after the show went to a commercial break.
❝An all Aussie women's invasion only though.❞ Billie then shot, crossing her arms as Royce dramatically rolled her eyes. ❝Oi, you two still beefing with poor ol Murphy?❞
❝POOR?!❞ Both Billie and Hadley synchronized, their eyes adverting onto Peyton with both confusion and rage. ❝He led me on Peyton, and I was actually really falling for him.❞
Peyton then pouted, her own eyes overflowing. The waterworks were on, and Hadley just patted the two. ❝He's no buddy of mine, that's for sure.❞ Hadley then spat, crossing her arms as she recalled the series of events that led to their friendship collapsing.
There was once a time in which Hadley considered Buddy Murphy one of her closest friends. Although she didn't consider herself Australian, having been born in Sydney was enough for Buddy to invite her to one of his Australian's only cookouts.
