Chapter 6

      Jace's POV

'' What's with that?!''

'' Jada wait! '' bago sya umalis binalaan nya ako, '' you stay away from her! wag mo na syang lapitan ''.

'' who are you para sabihan moko ng ganyan ha!? boyfriend ka ba nya?''

Di nya ako sinagot at nagpatuloy lang sya sa paghabol kay Jada.

'' Jada wait! '' sigaw ulit ni Noah.

Noah's POV

'' okay ka lang ba talaga? ''

'' I'm fine'' ngumiti sya , ay ngumisi lang pala, '' I better go home and get some rest to regain my energy, may half-day practice pa tayo sa theatre bukas ''.

'' huh!? totoo? naku!'' napakamot ako saking ulo, '' pano to, may basketball practice din kami ''.

'' well! that's not my problem anymore'' tumalikod na si Jada at umalis.

'' since when pa sya naging masungit ? '' tanong ko saking sarili.

Jada's POV

Habang sumakay ako ng jeep papauwi, my eyes were glued to my phone , I chatted Nick, kasi it's been a while since yong last chat namin ...more like simula nung lumipat na ako dito sa Manila.

Pinag-flood messages ko sya kasi I've missed him na talaga, sobra.

Nick's POV

I come to Shyle's house more often ever since Jada moved away,  the three of us were bestfriends so it's just the two of us now, me and Shyle .

  Di ako nagparamdam kay Jada even though I missed her it is because of what I've read from Shyle's account, that she'd already met someone , ano pa ba magagawa ko? malapit sya ako ang layo, andito ako sa Australia! sya sa Pilipinas ... I always knew that LDR relationships doesn't work well , there are some na naka-survive pero pambihira lang yan nangyari, kaya nga I've told her nung time na hinatid ko sya sa airport kung ano ba talaga yong decision nya para sa pagmamahalan namin but she chose to continue kung ano ang meron namin ngayon , I uh I don't know, maybe it's time for me to let her go.

When I opened my phone , tinadtad  pala ako ni Jada ng messages na '' I love you, I miss you , let's talk ''.

I ignored her messages it is because andito pa ako sa hapag-kainan busyng-busy sa kakatutok ng pagkain,baka kasi mapagalitan ako ni dad.  Pagkatapos ko namang kumain papunta nako kina Shyle at dun ko na sya rereplyan.

                     Jada's POV

      Pagdating ko ng bahay, nilagay ko yong bag ko sa sofa at dumiretso sa kusina, nagugutom na kasi ako .

  Then nag half-bath muna tas nagbihis tas balik hawak ng phone habang nakahiga , heto! I'm waiting for his reply , alam kong umaga na dun sa Australia sa oras na to.

I've waited pero wala talaga eh, di rin nya sineen .

Few minutes later...

*snored*

  *tak *

   '' hala! '' sigaw ko. '' Nahulog ''. pinulot ko yong phone ko sa sahig, buti nalang konting gasgas lang yong natamo netong phone ko.

*ting *

'' it's Nick ''.

Binasa ko yong reply nya tas nagulat lang ako, I totally have no clue na ito yong mangyayari.

''Jada, I love you so much, and that's why it becomes too hard to maintain our relationship long distance. It's just too hard not being able to hold you, spend time with you, and just see your face. We both know chatting online and talking on the phone is a poor substitute for time spent together.
I thought I could handle a long distance relationship, but I'm afraid this is just too much. I spend so much time worrying about what you're doing, who you're doing it with, and wondering if you even think of me more often.If there's someone new who is better than me , or you may be together with some other guys you just met there. In short you have someone new.If we can't be together in person, then I don't think I want to be together at all. It's too much to bear. We have to end things so we can start healing our hearts and move on with our lives. This isn't easy for me, and I can't imagine it's easy for you either, but this is the way it has to be.I'm sorry ''.

I became speechless for a little while.

'' I understand, I know ... it's been too hard for me too , I miss your warm hugs, the smell of your perfume and most of all our dinner dates and movie nights and... '' bigla nalang akong naluha . *message sent *.

*seen 2 minutes ago *

'' what? '' tanging reply lang nya.

'' Nick? I thought you trusted me, what are you talking about? someone new? I love you Nick! I always did! I never cheated on you, ngayon lang ako nagparamdam kasi I thought you're busy, but I've waited for you to chat me on messenger,on IG or in twitter, believe me I did . There's no someone new! just you ... Sobrang na miss na nga kita ehh , especially Australia, how I wished to go back there ASAP , but there's nothing I could do right now ''.

'' I'm sorry Jada but that's it! I have fully made up my mind,I'm officially breaking up with you, i'm sorry ... nice chatting with you ,I love you too , I hope we can remain friends, and I hope you agree this is the best decision for the both of us. Goodbye ''.

'' Di, I just don't understand him, why? bigla-biglaan lang to , ansakit ! ''

Sineen ko lang yong last message nya tas nagmessage ako kay Shyle. Bago pa man ako makapagsend ng message, tuma-typing sya.

'' 10% remaining ''.

'' Malapit na pala akong maglowbat ''

*Shyle typing *

'' Apo?may bisita ka''wika ni lola .

'' huh? o sige papababa nako '' sagot ko .

Syempre, nagtataka ako kung sino kaya yong bisita na tinutukoy ni lola.

Chinarge ko muna yong phone ko saking kwarto habang andoon pa ako sa baba.

'' The visitor is waiting , matatagalan ka pa ba dyan? '' tanong ni lola.

'' bababa na lola ! wait lang ''.

Nagmamadali akong tumakbo papababa.

( Sa may sofa)

'' Noah? what are you doing here? '' tanong ko.

'' Hinatid ko lang tong binder mo na hawak-hawak ni Ynna kanina, nakalimutan nyang isauli sayo ''.

   '' hala! ''  sinaklaw ko ito agad sa kamay ni Noah.

    '' binasa mo ba kung ano ang nakasulat? '' Noah nodded.

Meanwhile...
(Sa kanyang kwarto)
     Tumunog yong phone nya...

*ting *

  '' Girl, I just want to show you something '' message ni Shyle.
