When the attacks with Stain begin, He decides to leave the league of Villians in hope of becoming a Hero which Nezu gives him a trial run, just to make sure he doesn't plan any funny business. Since he missed the sports Festival, one of the students was chosen to take Max along and it just happens to be Todoroki. Before internships start, Max decides to switch up his costume to forget all about the league
Max was born into a Family of Villians. They all insisted he joins the LOV which he did. They attacked the USJ and he was caught fighting Bakugou and Kirishima, seeing how they used their quirks he wondered if he could possibly control his quirk. When he and the league were introduced to the Hero Killer, Stain, Max got thinking about the UA Kids again. That next day he decided to enroll at UA. Nezu was a bit uneasy concerning he is a villain but he was also still a school-aged child so with some convincing from All Might, he was able to join. 1-A was also uneasy about this, but seeing as he had no intention hurting them, the slowly came to understand why he acted the way he did. He went home after his first day, the league questioned what he was doing.
"Maybe Shadow Cutie has a plan to infiltrate the UA Cuties!" Toga suggests, fiddling with her knife, giggling
"What were you doing there Maxwell?" His mom asks with a grin
"I want to be a hero!" Max says determined
Shigaraki choked on his drink "Don't say that word here!"
"What? Hero?"
"That's like saying f*ck in front of little kids" Dabi crossed his arms
After some convincing, Max made his final decision, he was staying in the hero program. They told him if he decides to stay he couldn't come back. He stays with Deku for a while after telling him what happened and Deku was actually was the first one to trust him so he didn't mind. The class started questioning why the two went home with each other all the time now and Deku explained what happened. Aizawa hears this and asks for Max after class, he asks the boy if what Deku said was true and he nodded. With that, Aizawa decided to keep Max as his own kid and this worked out well.
His role in the Training camp arc is he's in the same position as Tokoyami but he happened to be in a group with Bakugo and Todoroki
Explanation Of Quirk: User can command shadow beings and have them do his bidding
Function: His shadow friend Araysh can summon more shadows and attack using Max's mind. Max can also travel through Shadows
Drawback(s): If Max gives in too much to Araysh, become surrounded by darkness with no light (Much like Tokoyami), or uses too much of his power, Araysh can take control of him and the only way to bring him back is using any source of light (Even a phone screen will do). Nightmares can also fuel Araysh if Max isn't careful
Support Items: A doctor's mask over his mouth, prevents any unwanted demons (Aside from Araysha) to take control
