Today is the day of the sleepover you and your friends have been planning for weeks. You, Alejandro, kairi, mattia and your best friends, Rosa and Keira are all spending a whole weekend by the beach at rosa's dads summer house.
You all meet at lunchtime at a table
Keira: I can't wait for this weekend! We're going to have so much fun
Ale: I've literally been counting down they hours until we go since this morning that's how damn excited I am
Everyone continues to talk about the sleepover while y/n sits quietly and eats
Mattia: y/n, what are you going to do when you arrive?
You're too distracted by your thoughts to hear
Mattia: hey! y/n
You're quickly brought back down to earth by mattia's loud voice
You: "huh?! Yeah I'm excited to" you say before looking back down
Mattia: you ok? You've seemed a little distracted lately
Mattia puts his hand on you knee and gently rubs his thumb on your lower thigh which makes you blush a bit
You: yeah I'm fine; I didn't get much sleep last night that's all
You smile at him and reassuringly hold his arm
Kairi: well you better not be tired later! We're wasting no time getting to the beach house after school
Kairi gets up to leave the table and the others follow leaving you and mattia alone
Mattia: hey, you might call me a simp for this, but I just wanna say that I'm really excited to spend time with you this weekend with you, y/n
He places his hand on your thigh again, only this time slightly higher up than before
You: I'm really excited to spend time with you, too
You smile at him and he smiles back. His deep brown eyes stare at you softly before he gets up and catches up with the others. You're left with butterflies in your stomach
