He squinted his eyes at me, it was almost as if he was expecting me to agree with him.

I glared at him, I've been tortured for as long I can remember, it's to the point I've gotten use to pain.
"D-do it" my voice sounded harsh and gruff.
He sighed, "im not going to hurt you kid, I just want you to answer my questions"

He was confused, "Why do you want a book?"
"why do you want I to answer questions?" I asked, this stupid complicated language, just give me a damn book already
"Because you've been in the custody of villains"

"Yes, but last time I checked with the villains they said you were uneducated, how come you seem fluent in this language?"

He handed me a book laying around, I sat up and flipped through the book, I learned at least 100+ phrases.
I put the book down and stared at him, "the more you talk the more I learn" I gave him a simple answer, then I laid back down.
"you still have to answer my questions"
"why should I?" I looked at him,
"because I saved your life"
"My life is meaningless why should I care if I never asked you for help"
"You would've been stuck in that box for the rest of your life"
"I've already gotten used to that idea, but since you're kind to save someone like me I will answer your questions"

" I don't know, I always thought that I had it coming for being put in this world"
Of course, I knew why I was locked up, do you honestly think I'm dumb?

" -gasp- how did you know?" I made a sarcastic remark
Why else would they keep a kid in a tube
He glared at me
"I don't have time for your sarcasm"

And just like that, I'm retaining information like crazy.
I've learned of a device called, a tablet.
I went to..google
I typed in "Quirks"
A bunch of articles popped up about Heroes, I clicked on the video, I watched the hero use their quirk, after that, a bunch of calculations started ramming through my head.

I looked out the window, You know this is the first time I've seen the sky.

The same guy from before walked into my room, "I've come to talk to you about something" he stood beside my bed.
I adverted my attention towards him.
"How about you become a student here at U.A, and take the hero course" he offered me,
"You will be given a paid off apartment and U.A will pay you monthly if you attend as a student" .
That does sound like a deal
"In 2 months the entrance exam will take place, till then you will have to train your body" he explained,
I of course already knew this,
"Alright" I agreed.
He was about to leave, "Wait, you never told me your name" I asked him.
