ON THEIR EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY , a person will receive the flower that most defines them . a mark will be present on their body , usually the wrist , ankle , or neck . flowers vary , and it is possible for people to have the same flower . color also plays a role in the meanings of people's marks . if a person isn't satisfied with their given mark they may choose to have it removed . however , once a mark is gone , it is impossible to get it back . those with removed flowers are referred to as " wilted , " and are looked down on by those with flowers , " blossoms .
