As much as I love Naruto's "dattebayo," I find it hard to use in English. It works better in Japanese, so you won't be seeing that in this story. I'll leave that to you, dear readers, to fill them in where you think is appropriate 😁.
I've also taken the liberty of cutting out many of the Japanese honorifics. So Hinata refers to Naruto as just plain Naruto without the "kun." Everybody calls each other just by their names without the "san." Hanabi, though, still calls her sister Onee-sama, because I just can't use "honored elder sister" all the time. To me, Hanabi conveys her fondness and respect for Hinata whenever she says "Onee-sama". I also kept "sama" and "sensei" to reflect the respect the students show their masters.
I tried to remain true to the characters' personalities. I hope I did them justice.
