Josie decided to skip the trip John B was taking the rest on. She decided to pick up a shift at 'The Wreck' and just work all day to get her mind off things.
"Josephine! My favorite employee! Don't tell Kiara I said that." Kiara's dad says walking up and hugging her as she walked in
"Hi, Mr. C," she smiled and grabbed her apron, tying it around her waist "I'm open all day, so anything you need I'm here,"
"That's awesome. And how many times I have told you to call me Mike, it's okay. Well you can take your normal tables and I'll tell you if I need anything," he smiled and she nodded and walked to one of the tables
She had been working for about an hour when Topper and his group walked in, sitting at the tables Josie waited
None of the pogues or Kooks had talked since the beach incident and she was scared if she was telling the truth.
"Oh, God. Here we go." He whispered to herself and walked over
"What can I get y'all to drink," she asked not making eye contact with any of them
"Hey, look who we have..." Topper said smiling devilishly. She could tell they were all slightly drunk by the way they slurred their words
"What do you want, Topper." She sighed and they told her the drink order and she walked off
She came back and gave them the drinks. She handed topper his and she knocked it out of her hand trying to grab it.
She gasped from the cold liquid and Topper just laughed.
"Here let me get that," he said grabbing her wrist and pulling her into him taking a napkin and wiping it down her body
"Topper, it's fine. I got it." She said pulling away but Rafe stood up keeping her from leaving
"I split it. I have to clean it," he said pulling her back harder this time making her fall into his lap
"Let me go. Topper, let me go," she said trying to get out of his grip
She got a hand free and slapped him, making him let go of her. She took that to stand up and try to leave but Rafe grabbed her arms stopping her
"Stop!" She yelled as he tightened his grip. That's definitely gonna leave a bruise
"What's going on over here?" Mike said walking over. Rafe heard his voice and let go of Josie, making her let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
"We just, um, I accidentally spilt his drink. I'm sorry," she said, walking past Rafe to stand behind Mike.
"That's fine. Go to the back, I'll bring him another," he stated and Josie nodded and walked to the back with him following
"Josephine, what happened?" He asked as the passed the doors
"He knocked the drink out of my hand. And he was trying to get it off me but they're drunk and he pulled me into his lap." She mumbled and he nodded and pulled her into a hug
The phone started ringing and they pulled away and Josie answered
"This is 'The Wreck', Josie speaking," she said into the phone
"Heyyyy, Josie..." Kiara said into the phone with an innocent voice
"Kie?"
"Hey, um, could you get my dad, please?"
"Yeah, hold on. Mr. C, Kie is on the phone!" Josie called out and he walked over taking the phone
"Kiara? You are where?! Yes, I'm coming" he said into the phone the hanging it back on the wall
