Peter's POV

The internship was over. We had really just hung out with Shuri and the Avengers the whole time, but I wasn't complaining.

Shuri was acting weird around me. It was ever since Mr. Stark had mentioned Spiderman. But, there was no way she thought I was Spiderman.

Right?

I walked home anyway, needing to start patrol soon. I had to be ready for a big fight tonight.

No POV

Shuri had decided to wait to ask Spiderman about what he knew about Peter. She was just a little upset that Peter didn't tell her, but it was hard, because she wanted Peter to trust her.

Tony had created something. He had figured out that the powers came from the suit (big dumb) and created somehing that would stop the technology from working in a 100-foot radius. That, of course, included the suit he would be in, but he would exit the suit first. He also needed to warn the other Avengers so they would be ready.

Steve and Natasha were heading up the stairs with Shuri. She was sure that Nat had figured out something was bothering her, but she didn't ask. Then, Shuri realized she left something in the lab: a pair of boots that would let her walk on air for some time, but they were heavy, so she would put them on when they got there. She would be taking her own motorcycle.

"Nat, Steve? I left something in the lab, go without me, I will be right back."

She left before they could respond.

When they arrived in the common room, where the following Avengers already were: Tony, Clint, Thor, and Bucky, whom they had been able to rescue back when they fought him in Winter soldier. (wink wink)

"Hey, Nat. Wait, where's Shuri?"

"She had to grab something. Just wait a few minutes."

Tony stood up.

"I want to tell you, I have this," he held up a device that looked like a french fry, "which will make it so any technology within 100 feet of of it will no longer work. I will let you know before I use it."

A few people nodded, and then an alarm went off right as Shuri came back with her boots. Friday was giving off an alert.

"Sir, it seems that Spiderman has been spotted near the ocean, by cliffs that aren't open to the general public."

"What is he doing?"

"Sitting there."

Everyone was confused. He wasn't usually near the beach, or this close to Manhattan. Bucky was the first to speak.

"He knows that we're coming. How?"

"Maybe he bugged the tower?"

"He knows that we know that he knows now then."

"At least we know that he knows that we know that he knows."

"Everyone shut it, we're wasting time!"

Naturally, everyone listened to Natasha, who yelled at them, because they knew they would die if they didn't. So, they all piled onto the jet.

Peter was nervous. He knew that the Avengers were coming, and so he waited somewhere they could fight without anyone getting hurt. And, he had Ned and MJ controlling drones that he could web onto in the air, due to the lack of buildings. He had pepper spray bombs, and he had an emergency escape plan. He knew if he fought the Avengers, they would always look for him, so he was willing to get over with it now. He heard the jet.

The Avengers landed the jet a few miles away, just outside the city limits, and they got on their vehicles and sped off.

Spiderman was sitting there. So, Steve threw his shield at him. Without looking, he caught it. Then, he continued to sit there, until Tony walked next to him.

"I will give you one last chance to surrender. If not, we will take you by force."

Spidey thought for a second.

"Option three."

He sprung into the air, and then he threw a small tube, and a pepper spray cloud exploded out. The Avengers all choked on it, some recovering quicker than others, and started to attack. First, he threw Steve's shield back, and it hit him in the shoulder, which took him off guard. Peter webbed Steve's legs and tripped him. Shuri then put her boots on and went next to Spiderman, trying to take his mask off. He webbed what seemed like the air, and flew into the sky. Shuri followed him. They were over the water when Tony pushed the button, and Shuri began falling, followed by Peter and the drone. They both screamed as they suddenly fell. Acting fast, he grabbed her and grabbed the side of the cliff. You could hear yelling, and he saw a head peek over the edge. He needed to act fast. He grabbed the top of the cliff with his webs and began to climb to the top.

Shuri had no clue as to what just happened. She started falling, and then Spiderman caught her, and then it clicked.

Peter, the scream, the pepper spray bomb, the technology. She was being held by Peter. Peter was Spiderman.

"Peter?"

He froze. Then he sighed.

"Yeah, but don't tell the others."

She was shocked. At least he came clean, though.

They had reached the top.

"Spiderman, drop the princess."
"I don't want to hurt anyone."

"Drop her!"

"You are the one who made her fall out of the sky!"

"Let her go!"

"Fine!"

He pushed Shuri forward, and she tripped. Nat ran up and helped Shuri away. Then, Thor's hammer hit Spiderman out of nowhere, and he fell, right into the freezing ocean.
