These pieces were purchased by myself or my boyfriend, all were ethically sourced from reputable companies. No animals were harmed for the specific reason to be killed for taxidermy.
BONE WARNING
This is a vial of small aquatic snail shells purchased in a set of three different vials shipped out of Texas.
☠☠☠☠☠
Second in the set of three, these are Tiger Urchin spines found from a specimen washed up and already deceased.
☠☠☠☠☠
My favorite of the three, five Stingray spines. These spines were harvested from fisherman throwing them away after their catches. Stingrays are some of my favorite marine animals so even though I'm sad they were fished, I'm glad to have these pieces in my collection to admire them more.
☠☠☠☠☠
Vial of Silver Fox fur. This was saved off the tail of a Fox that was hit and mailed to the company to sell what was salvageable. This is another favorite in my collection.
☠☠☠☠☠
This purchase I'm a little weary about for future reference because they were kind of mass produced in a gift shop found while visiting at Hawaii. I do not know the species either to look up their status. This is the only purchase I've made I have questions about.
☠☠☠☠☠
Red Banded Wolf snake full skeleton my boyfriend bought me for Christmas 2019. Indigenous to East Asia, this species is nocturnal and non-venomous. According to the IUNC Red List they are classified as Least Concern about endangerment.
