Look at me go! Two updates in two days. This has to be a first!
Anyways, today's book is Princess Autism by Doodahs, and while I haven't read much of it yet, I'm sure it'll be amazing!
Description: Rose Hakim-Lewis is fed up of the constant discrimination at her school. Desperate to cause a change, she embarks on a campaign not only to change her school, but also to come to peace with her past.
The diversity in this book is so incredible! I don't think I've ever seen an MC like Rose before and I think that she offers a lot of representation to other black, gay and autistic women.
I love the idea of a campaign to change the way the school thinks, and I also really like that when the author uses slurs that are offensive to people, she puts * in them. Even though you can tell what the word is, this implies that these words are in fact offensive and shouldn't be used, which is a message that a lot of people need to hear.
There are also trigger warnings at the start of every chapter, so you don't have to worry about any nasty surprises!
