There used to be eight of us. We were together all the time and did just about everything together. We went to school, parties, concerts, you name it, we did it. But then we lost one. Amy. She was the mortar that kept the bricks from crumbling to the ground. So what happened when she wasn't there anymore? We crumbled. We cut each other out of our lives completely. We avoided each other at school, our parents' meetings, and we never spoke. We all lost. But seeing each other was inevitable.
