Liyah's POV

When we got to the car I saw Robert walking away to the garage. After a 10 minutes drive, we finally arrived in front of a big, tall beautiful building with the words 'KING' in big gold block letters
We got out of the car as Ace threw his keys at the valet. Taking my hand in his we walked inside the building.

"Good morning Sir." was all I heard as everyone was looking at me in confusion and some glaring at me

We kept walking until we got to two elevators. One said private and it was gold and the other was silver with nothing written on it. Ace pulled me by the waist and we got into the gold elevator.

"Why was everyone staring like that?"

"Don't pay attention to them. They just haven't seen me with a lady as beautiful as you by my side"

I scoffed

"What you don't believe me"

"Of course I don't believe you. I have seen pictures of some of the people you have dated and I'm nothing compared to them. I mean I'm not saying I'm ugly or anything I've been told countless times that I'm actually really cute which I don't see and some people have told me that I'm hot, heck you called me beautiful this morning, but still, they are successful and really pretty even though some of them make you want to ruin their nose jobs but then some are sweethearts and I don't even know what I'm saying anymore" I finished with a huff

I looked at Ace to see him looking at me with an amused expression.

"What?"

"Nothing, you're just too cute for your own good"

"Again with the cute thing" I said under my breath and huffed when I heard him chuckling. The elevator opened and we both walked out with his hand still on my waist. As we walked out, a number of people still staring at us, we got to an office which had 'King' on the door. The office was made of glass and you could see the city from the balcony in the office. It had black furniture and a 12 seater table at the far corner making it look like a miniature conference room table.

"So as my PA, you would be required to know my daily schedule, you accompany me to meetings or anywhere required of you, you take notes in meetings, you get me my coffee first thing in the morning. You set up the conference room before every meeting, you make proper reservations or appointments when necessary you accompany me to them. Do you understand?"

"I'll get someone to show you around"

"Okay" I said as he called the secretary with the telephone on the table. I tuned whatever he was telling her out as I looked around the office a little more.

"One more thing Liyah, no one should know we are married. It would seem as though you got this job out of partiality or because of the fact that I'm your husband"

Before I had a chance to respond, there was a knock on the door

"Come in"

"Miss Willow, this is my new PA Miss Quinn, Miss Quinn my secretary Miss Willow"

"Nice to meet you" I said to the beautiful blonde wearing glasses smiling at me

"Likewise"

"Show her around the building and brief her on what she will be doing. Is that clear?"

"Yes sir. Let's get going then, Miss Quinn"

As soon as we walked out of the office she let out a sigh of relief which had me looking at her in confusion

"Oh don't mind me. I thought he was going to yell at me or probably fire me cause I came late. I mean I don't usually come late but its my third time this week and he hates tardiness and also yesterday I spilled coffee all over his documents and I don't usually do that also I mean cause its not normal. I also don't usually get him his coffee that's the job of his personal assistant and I'm just always nervous around him cause like I have a little tiny itty bitty crush on him-"

"Its fine you don't have to explain yourself to me" I said smiling at her

"Ok good I'm sorry I only ramble when I'm nervous"

"I do the same thing. Its no problem Miss Willow"

"Oh Please call me Avery"

"Ok Avery call me Aaliyah or Liyah"

"You have a beautiful name"

"Thank you" we rounded which according to her led to the heads of  departments block which was where she wished she worked but the pay was not as high as the secretary

"Hey Jamie" she said to a handsome redhead with blue eyes which looked to be about in his mid or late twenties

"Hey babes whose the hottie"

"Her name is Aaliyah. She's Mr. King's new assistant"

"Oh wow hi. I'm Jamie"

"Yeah I got that" I said shaking his extended hand smiling

He was cute he looked to be about 5'7 and he had broad shoulders and a good body build but he was nothing compared to Ace. Ace wasn't cute, no, he was an Adonis. He was simply beautiful in every sense of the word.

Avery then led us to the next cubicle where she introduced me to a lady who was currently typing furiously with her slightly long blood red nails. She was a blonde with bright beautiful blue eyes. She looked like a model much like most of the staff I've met here.

"And this is Samantha. She's works under Jamie. Sammie this is Aaliyah she's Mr Kings New assistant"

"Hi. Nice to meet you" I said a hand out for her to shake

"Well I don't like you so leave" she said turning back to her laptop

"Sammie!" Avery yelled wide eyes

" What. She's probably like the others. I don't want to waste my time being nice to someone who's going to be a bitch"

"I assure I'm not going to be a bitch, Samantha" I spoke for the the first time since

" And how can I be sure of that"

" I don't know.. Only time will tell I guess" I said shrugging

"Well then, nice to meet you too Aaliyah, I hope we become good friends" she said with a dazzling genuine looking smile

"Bipolar much?" Avery muttered under her breath which made me smile

" I'm sorry I have a lot of work to do, see you at lunch yeah? "

"Yeah I guess"

"Ok bye Sammie"

We continued our little tour until hubby dearest called for me.
