Gone
The cold air tangles her hair
Darkness surrounds everything, consuming itClouds of sorrow weep above,
As they view her on the rooftopShe stares for a moment,
At the world before herLights illuminate the streets,
An angry wave crashes against
The cold, damp, sandA lone girl,
Feet dangling off the edge
Of the hard, concrete ledgeStaring at the road,
From her place on the roof,
Wondering where it will take herHer heart lays in pieces,
Shattered against the sidewalk belowHer dreams are gone
Her hope is gone
She is gone.-Lia💙
